The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team suffered their first loss of the season Tuesday night in Coral Gables, Florida when the Miami Hurricanes defeated the Bearcats 79-56.  It is the first loss of the season for Binghamton.  The Bearcats entered the game with a 9-0 record.  With the win Miami ups its record to 6-3.  It was the first ever meeting between the two teams.

Carly Boland led the Bearcats with 22 points.  Binghamton High grad Olivia Ramil was also in double figures with 12 points.  The Bearcats leading scorer Kai Moon was held to 6 points by Miami's defense.  The Hurricanes held a big edge on the boards and out-rebounded Binghamton 58-30.  The Bearcats hit 36 percent of their shots while

The Bearcats play two more games in Florida with their next game  versus Austin Peay on Thursday afternoon.  That game is slated for 2 PM start and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM WYOS.
