Binghamton Bearcats Travel to Stony Brook in Women’s Basketball

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team is on Long Island tonight (Wednesday) for a 7:00 P.M. contest with the Stony Brook Seawolves. Airtime is set for 6:45 on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM with Cam Lavallee at the Island Federal Arena. Back on January 7 the Seawolves defeated the Bearcats 65-56. Overall in the series between the two teams the Bearcats hold a 23-21 edge.

Heading into tonight's game the Bearcats record is 9-13 overall and 4-5 in America East Conference play. Stony Brook carries a record of 16-6 into action tonight. The Seawolves are 5-4 in the conference. In Binghamton's last outing on Saturday the Bearcats lost to Albany 71-62. Stony Brook also dropped its last game falling to Hartford 73-62.

The Bearcats are led by Rebecca Carmody who is sixth in the conference in scoring averaging 13.4 points per game. She also leads America East in rebounding with 8.0 boards grabbed per game.
