Binghamton Bearcats Host Rival Great Danes

The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team will host long-time rival Albany at the Events Center Tuesday Februaru 10 at 7 p.m.

Albany is the only team to remain undefeated in America East competition.  Coming into the Great Danes' game at Binghamton Albany sports an 11-0 record.  The Bearcats are 3-8.

In an earlier meeting on January 14th at the SEFCU Arena in Albany the Great Danes defeated the Bearcats 73-58.  Peter Hooley racked up 16 points for Albany to lead their offense.

Albany leads the overall Division I series against the Bearcats 15-13.  The Great Danes have won the last nine meetings against BU.  Binghamton is led in scoring by Willie Rodriguez who is averaging 10.9 points per game.  Romello Walker is second in scoring with an 8.3 points per game average followed by Marlon Beck who is notching 7.5 points per outing.

Airtime for the Great Danes - Bearcats battle is 6:45 p.m. on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Binghamton follows the Albany game with a trip to New Hampshire on February 14.
