The Binghamton Bearcats face the highest-ranked team in their Division One history when they meet the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor on Sunday at noon (air at 11:45 A.M. on News Radio 1290 WNBF).

Michigan is the second-ranked team in the latest Associated Press Top-25 poll.  The Wolverines are 12-0 including wins over Villanova and North Carolina.

Binghamton is 0-2 in previous meetings against the Wolverines.  Binghamton dropped a 59-46 decision to the Wolverines in 2004 and fell 67-39 in 2012 with both at Michigan's Crisler Arena. When the Bearcats faced Michigan State in 2015 the Spartans were ranked third in the country and the 2012 Wolverines were ranked third when they hosted BU.

The Bearcats are 4-9 and are coming off a thrilling buzzer-beater victory at LIU Brooklyn in their last outing.  J.C. Show provided the BU fireworks with the three-point shot off a Sam Sessoms pass that gave the Bearcats a 68-67 road win.  Sessoms continues to sparkle for Binghamton averaging 17.7 points per game.  He has scored in double figures in 12 of 13 games.  J.C. Show is the only other Bearcat averaging double figures scoring 11.1 points per game.

For Michigan three players average double digit scoring.  Ignas Brazdeikis leads the Wolverines with a 16.1 points per game average.  Charles Mathews averages 14.5 points per game and Jordan Poole scores at a 13.2 points per game clip.
