The Binghamton Bearcats softball team finished the America East regular season with a 6-4 victory over Stony Brook on Saturday at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  The win raises Binghamton's conference record to 10-7 and overall mark to 21-23.  Stony Brook is 15-2 in conference play and 32-16 overall.

The Bearcats head to the America East Tournament at Stony Brook beginning this Thursday.  The Seawolves finish as the regular season champions while the Bearcats ended in third place.  Binghamton meets second place Albany in the opening round on Thursday.

Six seniors played their final home game for the Bearcats on Senior Day.  A pair of freshmen outfielders highlighted Saturday's victory.  Gabby Bracchi drove in three runs and Bridget Hunt homered to power their team to the win.  Another freshman Annika Weisinger earned the win in relief.
