Former President Bill Clinton is planning to visit Broome County for a campaign rally supporting Hillary Clinton ahead of the New York state primary.

Democratic party officials say Bill Clinton is scheduled to appear at Binghamton University Saturday evening.

The former president is to speak at the event. He is to be joined by United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.

The rally will be held at the West Gym on the Vestal campus.

Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. Organizers say no tickets will be required.

Bill Clinton's visit will come five days after Hillary Clinton's challenger, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, held a rally in downtown Binghamton.
