It's a big week for the Binghamton Bearcats.  Several teams are getting lots of attention.  Starting things off is Paul Marco's men's soccer team.  The Bearcats advanced to the America East semifinal playoff round with a 4-3 win decided by penalty kicks over Stony Brook Saturday evening at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  The win advances  them to play Wednesday night in Hartford against the Hawks.  In a regular season meeting BU defeated Hartford 1-0.

On Friday night both the men's and women's basketball teams see road action.  Linda Simino earned a victory in her debut as the Bearcats women's coach by topping Mansfield State 83-60 Friday night.  They travel to Akron to meet the Zips in the opener of the Akron Tournament.  Tip-off is set for 6 PM with airtime at 545 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

Then at 9 PM Tommy Dempsey's men's basketball team meets the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame in the Hall of Fame Tip-off.  Airtime is 8:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  The Bearcats stay on the road and play at Providence Monday night in another 9 PM start.
