It was more like the Fourth of July than New Year's Eve at the Events Center on Sunday afternoon as the Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team made 14 of 26 three-point tries to explode to an 80-64 win over the Dartmouth Big Green.  The Bearcats took control in the early going and led 28-12 after the first period.  Dartmouth never led in the game.

The Bearcats had four players in double figures in scoring.  The leading scorer in America East, Imani Watkins, paced BU with 24 points.  Kai Moon was right behind with 19 points while Jasmine Sina added 15 and Alyssa James chipped in with a dozen.  Olivia Smith led Dartmouth with 17 points.

The Bearcats finished the non-conference portion of their schedule with a 9-4 record.
