The Binghamton Bearcats softball team swept a doubleheader from the Albany Great Danes on Wednesday afternoon.   Binghamton won the first game 6-5 and then shutout Albany 4-0 to win the nightcap.  The win ups BU's America East record to 4-0 and 12-17 overall.  Albany falls to 1-5 in America East and 16-13 overall.

Shelby Donhauser earned both victories on the mound, pitching a total of seven shutout innings.Her record is now 2-2 for the season.

The Great Danes jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first game but the Bearcats battled back to earn the win.  In the second game Donhauser kept Albany from getting on the board and keyed the Bearcats' sweep.

Binghamton will host UMass Lowell in a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon. The two teams will meet for a single game on Sunday beginning at noon.
