The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team won their first home game of the season as they topped the Rider Broncs December 21 at the Events Center 72-67.  The Bearcats overcame a ten point deficit in the second half to earn the win.  The Bearcats played their last game before Christmas and are now 2-10 on the season.  The Broncs fall to3-8. The series evens out at 2-2.

Binghamton was paced by freshman Imani Watkins with a game high 29 points. She scored 17 of the Bearcats 21 points in one stretch of the game.

The Bearcats had a 42-34 advantage in rebounding and only committed ten turnovers.  They are idle until December 28 when they host Bucknell at 2 p.m.  Airtime is set for 1:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
