Bearcats Men Look For Home Win Versus Retrievers
The Binghamton Bearcats host the UMBC Retrievers in a 7:00 P.M. start tonight at the Events Center. Air on News Radio 1290 WNBF is set for 6:45 P.M. The Retrievers lead the series with Binghamton 18-16 and UMBC has won the last six games in a row. On BU's home court the Bearcats hold a 10-6 advantage.
UMBC won their game against the Bearcats in Baltimore last month by a final score of 68-49. The Retrievers were led by forward Joe Sherburne with 15 points while Caleb Stewart paced Binghamton scoring with 16 points and Sam Sessoms added 15 more.
Coming in to tonight's action the Retrievers are in third place with an America East record of 7-3 (15-10 overall). Binghamton is in a tie with Maine for seventh place with a conference slate of 3-7 (7-18 overall).
The Bearcats are coming off of a road win in New Hampshire with a 68-61 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday. The Retrievers also won on the road their last time out coming up with a 67-66 win at Maine on Sunday.
