The Binghamton Bearcats men's soccer team has an overall record of 5-2-5 this season.  BU is 0-0-2 in America East play following a home tie this weekend at 1-1 against the Hartford Hawks. Along with success on the field Paul Marco's Bearcats have excelled in the classroom as well.

In word released earlier today from Binghamton Athletics the BU men's soccer team has been honored by earning Team Academic Honors from the National Soccer College Association of America.  Binghamton attained a Grade Point Average of 3.26, tops in America East and number 34 out of 206 NCAA Division I programs from the past academic year.

Teams must compile an overall average of 3.0 or better during an academic year in order to be honored by the NSCAA.  This is the 12th time since 2002 that the Binghamton Bearcats have achieved Team Academic Honors in men's soccer, proving you can consistently excel in the classroom and on the field.
