The Binghamton Bearcats journey into the big time tonight as they are at Notre Dame to meet the Fighting Irish at 7:00 P.M (6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Bearcats are 3-8 while the Fighting Irish are 7-3. Binghamton has played Notre Dame once before.  That was in 2014 when the Fighting Irish rolled to an 82-39 victory.  In that game Notre Dame shot 55 percent from the field while holding Binghamton to 26 percent shooting.

The Bearcats are led by standout freshman Sam Sessoms who is averaging 17.6 points per game.  Notre Dame's T.J. Gibbs is the leading scorer for the Fighting Irish averaging 13.5 points per game.  Notre Dame is a member of the ACC.  The Bearcats are 1-6 lifetime against ACC schools with a 2006 win at Miami by a final score of 79-74.

The Bearcats travel to New York following the Notre Dame game to meet LIU Brooklyn on Friday at noon.  The game will be played at the Barclays Center, the home of the Brooklyn Nets.  Following that game the Bearcats close out the 2018 portion of their schedule with a December 30 game at the University of Michigan.
