B-Sens Fall in OT
The Binghamton Senators almost swept the weekend. But, an overtime goal 46 seconds into the extra session from Kane Lafranchise gave Bridgeport a 3-2 win in Bridgeport, Connecticut this (Sunday) afternoon.
The B-Sens were looking at a clean sweep of the weekend but still managed to earn five out of a possible six points in three straight outings. The B-Sens got goals from Nick Paul and Ryan Rupert. Matt O'Connor stopped 31 Sound Tigers' shots in net for Binghamton.
On Friday night the B-Sens ripped Albany 6-2 and then on Saturday evening Binghamton scored six goals again in a 6-3 win over the Hartford Wolf Pack. Both of those games were played at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.
Binghamton returns to action on Wednesday night as Lehigh Valley visits for a 7:05 game. Binghamton's record is now 5-8-1-1 for 12 points.
