B-Mets Matinee

The Binghamton Mets meet the New Britain Rock Cats after a win July 21 in New Britain.  Binghamton sends Michael Fulmer to the mound against New Britain's Ryan Carpenter.  Fulmer is 4-2 with an ERA of 2.16 while Carpenter is 5-10 and carries a 3.94 ERA.

Binghamton is playing red-hot baseball.  The July 4-1 victory gives the B-Mets a five-game winning streak.  Gabriel Ynoa earned his seventh win of the season giving up just one run in seven innings of work.  The B-Mets are now 13-6 in July .

Outfielder Michael Conforto continues to be a leading candidate for promotion to the Major-League New York Mets. New York has been struggling offensively and Conforto is a rising star in the organization.  The current Eastern League Player of the Week he is hitting .393 with two home runs and six extra-base-hits in his last seven contests.
