The Binghamton Devils rallied in two goals in the third period to force a thrilling 4-3 overtime win on the road against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins last night.

Reilly Walsh scored his first professional goal and the game winner 1:49 into OT.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s Jordy Bellerive scored goal one at 14:28 in the first period with a rebound off the skate of Brandon Gignac and fell into the net.

The Devils tied the game 1-1 in the second period as Nolan Foote scored his first professional goal, but later in the second period the Penguins scored on a power play goal by Josh Currie to put Wilkes-Barre/Scranton up by two going into the third period.

Binghamton’s Danick Martel pulled the Devils to within a goal at the 4:20 mark and Ryan Schmelzer scored his first goal of the new season tying the game at 3 a piece.

In OT Ryan Schmelzer passed the puck to Reilly Walsh who fired a shot into the net winning the game.

What a way to score your first professional goal.

The Devils host the Lehigh Valley Phantoms tomorrow night at 7pm
