Authorities Investigate Dirt Bike Crash at Kattellville Quarry

Authorities are investigating a dirt bike crash in Chenango Bridge that sent two boys to the hospital.

Few details were available early June 7 but the incident happened in a quarry off Kattelville Road near Prentice Road shortly before 6:30 p.m. June 6.

One of the teens was airlifted while the other was taken by ambulance to Wilson Hospital.

Their conditions were not available.

The quarry is often the site of hazardous and illegal activities with authorities often responding to reports of trespassers, bikers, people in boats and people swimming at the site.
