The Binghamton Bearcats men's lacrosse team dropped a 10-4 decision to nationally-ranked Albany last (Wednesday) night at the Bearcats Sports Complex in Vestal.  The win keeps the Great Danes at the top of America East upping their conference record to 4-0 and overall slate to 10-2.  Albany came into the game ranked fifth in the nation in a pair of major lacrosse polls.

The Bearcats drew first blood in the game as Joe Licata scored just past the middle part of the first period.  But the Great Danes responded and finished an action-packed first half with a 6-4 lead.  The Bearcats leading scorer Tom Moore notched a pair of goals and Griffin Konen added another tally.  Licata added two assists to go along with his goal to pace the offense.

The Bearcats are now 3-2 in America East and 10-2 overall.  They have another tough test on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Syracuse to face the Orange.  Syracuse is currently the top-ranked team in the country.
