This week, 37-year-old Jerome Bell of Owego was sentenced in federal court to eight years in prison.  He pleaded guilty to conspiracy with intent to sell methamphetamine in connection with the major drug trafficking right that operated for years funneling meth from Arizona into New York.

Ten alleged conspirators were arrested in connection with the operation shipping large amounts of crystal meth cross-country into the Southern Tier starting back in January 2015.

“Operation Hailstorm” raids were conducted throughout Broome County early in the morning on September 20th, 2017.
