Pennsylvania Couple Accused of Large Meth Distribution Operation

Two Bradford County residents are under arrest following an investigation into the possession and distribution of a large amounts of crystal methamphetamine in the area. 

Pennsylvania State Police say 29-year-old Chelsey Leighton and 37-year-old Joshua Benjamin were arrested in a raid at their home in the Jackson Trailer Park in Wysox yesterday.

Troopers from Towanda and members of the Troop “P” Vice/Narcotics Unit searched the trailer and found around 31 grams of crystal methamphetamine, $672, five 3-ounce packets of marijuana ready for sale, drug paraphernalia and packaging materials.

Both Leighton and Benjamin were sent to the Bradford County Jail after failing to post 100-thousand dollars bail.

Troopers say they expect to make additional arrests.
