16-Month-Old Infant Sexually Assaulted in Northern Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania State Police say a Troy man is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-month-old girl in his care, causing multiple injuries.

22-year-old Jacob Ayres is charged with felony aggravated indecent assault, felony corruption of minors and misdemeanor indecent assault.

Authorities indicated the alleged incident happened at a home on Blue Spruce Lane in Troy on August 19.

Troopers did not provide any information on Ayres’ relationship to the one-year-old other than the child had been under his care.
