The president of the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce, Gwen Kania and Tioga United Way executive director, Brian Eldridge outline plans for this year's Field, Hearth and Home Show on the March 1 edition of the weekly local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up.

The event started as a gun show and quickly expanded to cover other interests of residents in the area.

The Field, Hearth and Home Show is in its third year and will be held March 15 at the Owego Treadway Inn.

Kania and Eldridge say vendors are still being sought.  Last year, vendors included sporting and recreational businesses, camping, kayaking, gardening, soap-making and quilts.

Proceeds from the show are split between programs of the United Way and Chamber of Commerce.
