Woman Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Hancock

A Canadian woman died after she was hit by a vehicle on Route 17 in Delaware County.

Authorities say 36-year-old Sherylle Redulfin of Ottawa, Ontario, had been involved in a one-car crash on the highway in the town of Hancock Tuesday evening.

According to New York State Police, Redulfin was standing in the roadway when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle around 7:40 p.m.

Redulfin was taken to Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, where she died.

Investigators say the vehicle which hit the woman was driven by 20-year-old Laura Victor of Yorktown Heights.
