Woman Crashes Into Conklin Ave. Church

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Authorities say a woman apparently suffered a medical condition before crashing her sport utility vehicle into the side of the Conklin Avenue First Baptist Church during services at 9:43 a.m. October 30.

A number of congregations meet in the building, including Two Rivers Baptist Church and a Vietnamese Church.

No one in the church services was injured but the 69 year old driver was taken for evaluation after being helped from her vehicle by worshipers.
