Woman Charged After Oneonta Parking Dispute

Police say a SUNY Delhi student is accused of damaging a vehicle following an argument over a parking space outside a town of Oneonta mall.

Authorities say 18-year-old Alyssa Murphy was charged with criminal mischief after the incident at the Southside Mall.

According to state police, Murphy heard a parking dispute involving a friend and a man at the mall.

Investigators say Murphy is suspected of scratching the man's car with a key after he walked away.

Police say the keying incident caused about $100 in damage to the vehicle.

The parking dispute happened Saturday. Murphy was arrested the next day.

Murphy was issued an appearance ticket for Oneonta town court.
