Woman Accused of Sealing Cat in Paint Bucket

Authorities say a 36-year-old woman has been accused of killing a house cat by placing the animal into a paint bucket and sealing the lid.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Christina Regg of Davenport was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, a felony.

Deputies say Regg was arrested on September 26. She was released on an appearance ticket for Davenport town court.
