Bearcats Fall to Stony Brook

While Willie Rodriguez hoped to lead his Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team to some big things in the post-season beginning March 4 at Stony Brook in an America East quarter-final playoff game at the Island Federal Credit Union, it was not to be.

Rodriguez capped off his freshman season with a bang. He was named to the America East All-Rookie Team announced March 2.  He also earned AE Rookie of the Week honors for his 21 point effort against UMBC February 28.  Over the weekend he was named the Fans Choice Player of the Year in online balloting from around America East.
