West Corners Robbery Details Released
Broome County Sheriff’s Detectives say the two suspects who held up the Express Mart gas station on Union Center Maine Highway in West Corners early November 4 were young men between
the ages of 18 and 24.
One suspect was wearing a black jacket with a hood, a white Halloween mask and white gloves and pointed a black, pump-action shotgun at the clerk.
The second suspect was wearing a maroon or red jacket with a white emblem on the front and back, a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and had some kind of fabric over his face.
Both men were said to stand between five-feet, eight-inches to five-feet, ten-inches tall and were of slim to medium build.
After emptying the cash register, the pair fled through a back door, running south through the parking lot toward Carl Street.
