Waverly Man Accused of Shooting One Neighbor’s House and Another’s Cat
A Waverly man is charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals and criminal mischief for allegedly killing his neighbor’s cat with a BB gun and firing at a home on Loder Street.
Waverly Police say 21 year old Dylan Wright was arrested in connection with the October 17th shootings.
Police say they got a report that someone had shot at the windows of a home on Loder Street with a BB/CO2 type gun at 10:37 p.m. on the 17th, damaging the glass and siding of the home. The same day, police found a cat appeared to have been shot on the same street and it later died.
Wright is accused of intentionally shooting at a neighbor’s house, causing damage and moments later intentionally shooting the cat belonging to another neighbor.
He’s been ordered to appear in Village of Waverly Justice Court later this month.
