Waverly at Maine-Endwell

The undefeated Maine-Endwell Spartans host the Waverly Wolverines tonight (Friday) at 7:00 PM at Spartan Stadium.  The Spartans are flying high again and are 4-0.  The Wolverines won their first game of the season last weekend with a 44-14 romp over Marcellus.  They enter tonight's game at 1-3.  Waverly is the defending Section 4 Class B champion.  The Spartans rolled to 62 consecutive victories in Class A before losing in the stat'e semi-final round last Fall.  With an enrollment shift they are now competing in Class B.

The Spartans have given up just 13 points in the past two games and only 38 points overall this season.  M-E has shown a balanced attack offensively.  The Wolverines love to throw the ball.  A rainy night may hinder that part of the game for both sides.
