Vestal Restaurant Possible Exposure Site, Broome Rapid Testing Unit Moves

The Broome County Health Department says people who were at the Buffet Star restaurant on Vestal Road from 3 to 5 p.m. November 7 may have been exposed to the coronavirus.

Anyone at that location at that time for ten minutes or more should self-quarantine for 14 days until November 22nd.

Testing is available at area hospitals and the state testing site at Binghamton University by appointment by call 1-888-364-3065.  Broome County’s rapid testing is for residents who are showing symptoms of COVID-19.  The site is finishing its week at SUNY Broome Community College and will move next week to Saint Paul’s Church on Chenango Street on Binghamton’s North Side starting November 16.  The 15-minute rapid test will be conducted between 1 and 7 p-m daily by appointment.
