Union-Endicott school district officials are developing a spending plan that would not cut programs or slash the workforce.

The budget proposal will be discussed in a workshop that's planned for tonight.

The session will be held at seven o'clock in the boardroom of the district office building at 1100 East Main Street in Endicott.

Union-Endicott spokesman Christopher Schmidt said the current plan is at the district's maxium allowable tax levy of 3.66 percent.

The next budget workshop is scheduled for March 27.
