The UMass Lowell River Hawks women's basketball team invades the Events Center at Binghamton University tonight for a 7 PM game against the Bearcats.  Binghamton is 4-16 overall with a 1-6 slate in America East.  The River Hawks are 2-17 on the season and 1-7 in conference battles.

Earlier in the season at UMass Lowell the Bearcats equalled their biggest comeback at the Division I level as BU erased a 17- point deficit to defeat UMass Lowell 65-64.  It was the first meeting between the two teams in Division I competition.  Binghamton and UMass Lowell did play four times at the Division II level with each team winning twice.

In the Bearcats last game Vermont defeated BU 65-57.  Morgan Murphy scored 14 points to pace the Bearcats while Vaneeshia Paulk added 13 points.  Also on Sunday the River Hawks dropped a 75-68 decision to New Hampshire.  Shannon Samuels led all scorers in that game with 23 points and Lindsey Doucette hit for 18 points.
