Two Dead in Harpursville Crash

Two people are dead following a crash involving a car and a tractor trailer near Harpursville.

New York State Police say the incident happened shortly before 6 p.m. December 5 on Interstate 88.

Officials say the investigation is continuing, but it appears black ice may have been the cause. 

The driver and a passenger in the car were killed but the driver of the tractor trailer did not sustain serious injuries.

The names of those killed have not been released.
