Two Charged After Daytime Shooting in Binghamton Neighborhood
Binghamton police have arrested two men following an afternoon street argument that culminated in a flurry of gunshots.
Several shots were fired near the historic Spring Forest Cemetery in the city's First Ward around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday. Police were sent to the area of Mygatt and Meadow streets after residents reported a gun battle. No injuries were reported.
Investigators said they determined that people in a white sport utility vehicle and a silver sport utility vehicle shot at each other. Police recovered ten shell casings in the area.
The white SUV was found by police a short time later parked in a driveway of a residence at 255 Oak Street.

Police said they confiscated handguns, rifles, a shotgun, a ghost gun and ammunition.
Some residents in the Mygatt Street area told WNBF News they believed they heard as many as 15 shots fired during the moving gun battle.
A Meadow Street resident said about eight people were involved in a loud dispute before they SUVs drove from the area as the occupants exchanged gunfire.
Detectives did not reveal anything about the nature of the dispute or whether more suspects are being sought.
