Two-Alarm Blaze Damages Town of Lisle House
Firefighters from a half-dozen departments in Broome and Cortland counties battled a two-alarm blaze in the town of Lisle.
Authorities say the house fire at 1024 Caldwell Hill Road was reported around 11:30 p.m. Sunday. The scene is between Squedunk Road and Mount Hunger Road.
Lisle firefighters were assisted by units from Killawog, Whitney Point, Glen Aubrey, Triangle and Marathon.
According to an emergency dispatcher, no injuries were reported as a result of the blaze. Firefighters were on the scene for about three hours.
The Broome County fire investigation bureau was working to determine the cause of the fire.
