Tractor Trailer Crash Blocks Lane of I81 North Near Whitney Point

New York State Police say the passing lane of Interstate 81 northbound at mile marker 33 is partially blocked after a tractor trailer loaded with produce rolled over at 3 a.m. April 9.

Officials say the rig was carrying 78,000 pounds of bananas.  The driver was not injured and none of the load was spilled.

Shortly after 4 a.m. tow crews were on the scene working to remove the tractor trailer.
