Tips Lead to Two Drug Sale Arrests in the City of Norwich
Two people are in the Chenango County Jail after Norwich Police and Deputies searched a home on Mitchell Street in Norwich on suspicion of drug activity at the address.
50 year old Patrick Gilbert and 36 year old Bethann Freelove are charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal nuisance. The pair is accused of selling cocaine and prescription drugs out of the City of Norwich house.
City Police say they had been alerted about an unusual amount of activity around the home and launched their investigation with Chenango County Sheriff’s Office and the Chenango County District Attorney’s Office.
Gilbert and Freelove were sent to the Chenango County Jail on $30,000 bail.
