Tioga County Sheriff’s Officials Investigate Armed Robbery
Tioga County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a report of an armed robbery at a home on State Route 17C in the Town of Tioga October 11.
Authorities say a person was allegedly lured to the home in the early morning hours and robbed at gunpoint by two men.
Later that day, as the Criminal Investigation Division came to search the home where the robbery was said to have happened, two men fled the scene.
Deputies say 22 year old Mason Runyon of Barton was found in a wooded area nearby and taken into custody.
17 year old Isaiah Ramirez, who lives at the same address as Runyon in Barton, was last reported still at large.
Runyon is charged with felony counts of robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and grand larceny.
He was sent to the Tioga County Jail without bail.
Warrants have been issued for Ramirez for felony criminal possession of a weapon and felony grand larceny. He is described as white, standing about 5’ 9” tall, weighing 230 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
