New York State Police say 39-year-old Melissa Murray turned herself in to authorities and charged with petit larceny.

Investigators say the complainants told troopers they hired Murray as a home health aide and house cleaner when pills were discovered missing.

Murray was arrested at 12:54 p.m. December 2 when she turned herself in at the State Police barracks in Owego.

She’s been ordered to appear in Owego Town Court later this month.
