Tioga County Clerk Reopens, Broome Clerk & DMV Offices Still Closed

While some businesses in the Southern Tier reopen, the Department of Motor Vehicle offices remain closed until New York State reopens them.

The Tioga County Clerk’s Office, without the DMV, will reopen for business Monday, May 18 with social distancing and face-coverings while the Broome County Clerk’s Office and the DMV remain closed. 

The Owego Town Hall opens Monday, May 18.

The Town of Union says it will restart its normal refuse, recycling and yard waste collection schedule on May 18 after going to a trimmed back recycling schedule for the emergency.

The City of Binghamton’s temporary hold on parking tickets and charging for parking is over.  The City is also resuming requiring residents to use the blue garbage bags.

The overnight curfew expires but Binghamton Police will still be enforcing physical distancing and ban on large gatherings that are part of the original emergency declarations.
