Authorities say 32-year-old Corey Derigo of Binghamton, 38-year-old Isiah Nixon of Endicott and 37-year-old Ramal Abdullah of Queens were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
According to city police, Derigo was driving the car which was pulled over on Spring Forest Avenue around 11 a.m. Wednesday when it went through a stop sign.
Investigators say Patrolman Andrew Fessenden discovered 110 packets of heroin and some marijuana in the vehicle. A search of the car also turned up "multiple cell phones" and more than $1,700 in cash.
Police say Derigo was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and passing a stop sign. They say Nixon is on parole in connection with a previous drug conviction.
Detectives say Abdullah also is on parole for a past drug conviction. He was charged with false personation for allegedly providing a fake name and date of birth to officers.
