Broome County Catholic School President Richard Bucci again has a gaudy lawn ornament at his Binghamton home to raise money for Seton Catholic Central’s Relay for Life.

Bucci has to raise funds for the American Cancer Society in order to have a bright purple toilet removed from his front lawn.

The head of the Broome County Catholic School system is the traditional first recipient of the purple toilet.

Organizers say purple is the color of the American Cancer Society and the toilet is a creative way of suggesting where students want to see cancer end.

Bucci will have the honor of naming the next recipient of the purple porcelain present.
