Teen Accused of Driving Drunk in Delaware County

A Franklin boy, who is not old enough to legally buy alcohol, is accused of driving drunk.

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say 18-year-old Sebastian Swift of Franklin was charged with driving while intoxicated after he allegedly hit a parked vehicle on Center street in the Village on December 22.

Deputies responding to the scene said they determined Swift was operating a vehicle while in an intoxicated state.

He was ordered to appear in Town of Franklin Court at a later date.
