It's truly the end of an era as the former Spot Restaurant property, located on Front Street in Binghamton, is set to be auctioned.

It was takeout time again at The Spot Diner Restaurant in the town of Chenango. This time, though, people stopped in to pick up items they purchased in an auction.

Another iconic eatery in the Binghamton area is winding down operations after several decades.

Hundreds of people traveling through the Southern Tier have been taking a break at a restaurant north of Binghamton to recharge their Tesla electric cars.
