
Susquehanna Valley Middle School Students Have Inclusive Gym Classes
Gym class may be more enlightening for students in the Susquehanna Valley School District this week.
Move Along Inc. is offering able-bodied students the opportunity to go through basketball drills while seated in a wheelchair then play wheelchair basketball games during physical education classes at the Richard T. Stank Middle School.

Students will also navigate a course around the gym using hand cycles.
The “Similarity/Inclusive Sports Training” program is offered by Move Along, Inc. to help students understand available adaptive sports for people with mobility issues.
