Suspended Driver Charged With Speeding in Broome

A Brooklyn man whom New York State Police say they clocked doing 92 miles per hour on Interstate 81 in the Town of Barker at around 4:15 p.m. May 7 had numerous license suspensions and his license had been revoked 20 times.

Troopers say 53 year old Kenneth Hines is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and traffic violations.

A check of his driving record revealed 57 suspensions and the 20 revocations.

Hines was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
