When the Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team takes the court at the Events Center on Saturday, November 1st against Mansfield State University a lot of fans will be looking for and cheering for Jordan Reed.  Reed returns for his junior season and wants to lead with his experience and athleticism as the Bearcats hope to make progress toward the top spot in America East.

Reed averaged 15.4 points per game and 8.9 rebounds per contest to lead the Bearcats in both categories last season for Coach Tommy Dempsey.  He is one of the premier players in America East and a Player of the Year candidate this season.

Reed hopes to lead his young teammates ( seven freshmen and five sophomores) to a major improvement over last season's 4-25 overall and 4-12 America East record.  Following the Bearcats game against Mansfield and another exhibition game at home against Oswego State on November 7 BU hits the road to play at Notre Dame on November 14 and Providence on November 17.  All games home and away will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
