Things seem to be back to normal for thousands of Spectrum Cable subscribers in the northeast.

Feburary 8, posts began appearing on social media from Maine and New Hampshire through New York and Pennsylvania from customers complaining of issues. 

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials also Saturday warned that some people may not be able to contact their 911 center due to the problems with not only the cable company but also Verizon Wireless.

Spectrum identified fiber optic damage in a Tweet sent on Saturday afternoon.

The company provided a little information over the weekend through tweets but there was no official news release sent or information on the Spectrum websites other than updates on an outage map.
