Special Investigations Task Force Arrests Heroin Dealer Suspect
The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force has made an arrest after an investigation into the sale of heroin in the Broome County area. In a media release issued today (6/26) it was announced that 37 year-old Tisshon R. Williams of Binghamton was taken into custody without incident at an unnamed hotel in the Village of Johnson City on Monday, June 25th and found to be in possession of 18 grams of heroin.
Williams was charged on a number of counts including:
Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree, a Class A-II Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a Class B Felony
Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class E Felony
NYS Parole Violation Warrant
and several other additional charges.
The Task Force is comprised of members of the Endicott Police Department, Broome County Sheriff's Office, City of Binghamton Police Department and Village of Johnson City Police.
